Russia
and Muslim Nations As Allies
Invade Israel (Kings
of North and South)
Russian Forces and Islamic Forces are Defeated
Hagee suggests that since Russia longs
to become the superpower it once was, it will try to make a pack with the
Islamic nations, who are enraged by the destruction of the Dome of the
Rock by Israel. Hagee predicts that the Islamic nations will allow Russia
to have its oil resources in exchange for an alliance, whose sole intent
is to eliminate Israel. This will secure the site of the Dome of the Rock
and provide the Russian Empire with the control of the oil resources of
the middle east. Hagee predicts that this will happen just before
the midpoint of the Tribulation. This Coalition between Russia and the
Islamic nations will "come from [its] place out of the far north, [it]
and many peoples with [it], all of them riding on horses, a great company
and a mighty army. [The Coalition] will come up against My people like
a cloud, to cover the land" (Ezekiel 38:15-16). This coalition, according
to Hagee, will be defeated by God's supernatural power and that "all men
who are on the face of the earth will shake at God's presence...God will
call for a sword against Gog...every man's sword will be against his brother...God
will rain down...hailstones, fire and brimstone...God will magnify Himself
and sanctify Himself and will be known in the eyes of all nations" (Ezek.
38:19-23). Hagee believes that at this battle God will shake the
earth with a might earthquake and neutralize the Russian-Islamic forces
and that Russian will turn against Russian and Arab against Arab by the
confusion brought on by God. Hagee interprets the "fire and brimstones"
as Israel's release of nuclear weapons on the invading forces.
Hagee takes the reader into new
depths of science fiction. No where in the passages Hagee cites is there
any mention of oil or a deal with the Islamic people to try to destroy
Israel. Hagee is now taking biblical scripture out of context and
making up fantastic stories to fit his vision of the end of the world.
